Todd is a long-time parent/student advocate and activist in Oceanside Unified School District.
He and his wife have three great kids, educated through Oceanside schools, with one still in high school. Todd was the first parent representative in Oceanside’s Local Control Accountability Plan Committee, a leader of the District Parent Advisory Committee, is a current member of the El Camino High School Site Council, a founding member of the San Diego Schools advocacy group, and survived a run for school board in fall 2020.
In private industry Todd has been a CEO, spent decades as a customer service executive for a national retailer, and is currently the Research Director with the public compensation watchdog site Transparent California.
Todd firmly believes that our schools need to pay attention to what their customers – parents – want for the education of their kids, not what district employees want for themselves.
