The Parent Association, Inc. is not party to any legal action that any group of parents may take against a School District or any other individual or entity. This webpage and sign on is solely a convenience offered by the Parent Association, Inc. to support parents in their efforts to advocate for full-time in-person instruction at school for all students.
No Vaccine Mandates for Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified Students.
On October 1st, Governor Newsom announced under an Emergency Executive Order that he was directing the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) to add the COVID-19 vaccine to other vaccinations required for in-person school attendance pursuant to the Health and Safety Code sections 120325 - 120380. Students who are not vaccinated will be required to enroll in independent study.
The government should not force parents to choose between their children receiving an in person education and submitting to the forced vaccination of their healthy children which is unnecessary and hasn't been tested sufficiently to assess risk of harm to their children’s bodies.
We believe that the CDPH may take this action as early as January 2022. If that happens, students who have not received COVID-19 vaccines will be shut out and excluded from the vital in-person classroom learning environment.

By signing on to our confidential registry, you will send a message to the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) Board of Trustees that there are thousands of voters and parents in our district who support parents’ rights to choose and that, as voters and parents, we strongly object to the K-12 COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
PLEASE SIGN UP to be counted. We will demonstrate parent solidarity and share the total number of signers in a letter to the PYLUSD board at the next board meeting in January. We will not share or publish your identity or personal information without your written permission.
By signing on to our confidential registry, you are representing that you believe that PARENTS should decide whether or not their children are vaccinated with the new COVID-19 shots, not the State or the School District.
