Empowering Parents.

Advocating for Students.

There is no better advocate for students than a parent.

The Parent Association represents parents who know the importance of advocating for the social, emotional and academic well being of students and want to make sure those needs are our school districts’ number one priority. The Parent Association helps parents be informed, organized and effective at influencing school district policies and budget decisions for the benefit of all students.

Reopen Schools.

COVID-19 notwithstanding, public schools are essential to the well being of a community and the future of its young people. The preponderance of evidence makes it clear that schools are not primary vectors of virus transmission. The significant negative impacts of long term school closures are not warranted. The Parent Association, Inc. strongly supports all efforts to ensure full-time in person learning for all students. Join us in advocating for full-time school reopening this school year.

Mask Mandate.

The Parent Association, Inc. is concerned that the CDPH is not following CDC Guidance allowing masks to be implemented depending on local case rates and vaccinations and is again attempting to mandate a one-size-fits-all strategy against the overwhelming consensus from public health officials that schools should determine mitigation strategies based on their unique circumstances. The Parent Association and its membership are urging parents to reach out to their district leadership to ask the CDPH to revise their unscientific guidelines before school starts next month.
